Black Friday

So I have figured out why people buy the most on the day after Thanksgiving. It started before the sales- it's what caused the sales. See, everything is closed on Thanksgiving, so everyone is cooped up in their houses or with their families, etc, and unable to shop out of free-will. The deprivation causes them to go on a frenzy the day after when everything opens up. Of course it helps having sales, but i've been cooped up and know the skin crawling feeling of not being able to go anywhere. Then i got to thinking of how it is in other countries- countries where it's dangerous to leave your house, or you don't have the freedom to walk or drive to the store. How unbelievably selfish and self-centered are we. We can't go one day without our consumer goods.
On another note- here are some festive pictures!

Okay- not so festive... but cute nonetheless! These are my two girl cousins Patricia and Sophia

A Thanksgiving of Walls

So first Joey came down with StrepThroat... luckily he went to the doctor in time to get happy meds and be okay to travel for Thanksgiving! Slowly the rest of the family began to fall apart until this morning when Angelina started complaining of stomach pains. So, to the hospital! She's still there, waiting for tomorrow to see if she needs to get her apendix out or not. Either way, Happy Thanks Giving in the white worn hospital!

Diaries

Yes! I am almost finished re-editing my production II "Diaries of a Professional Foosball Team"! I am hoping to get it festival worthy, but who knows. The deadline is December 5th 2008 for NAFF. I believe that I will enter it.

Me and My Brother

Me and my little bro Joe... Who isn't so little anymore...

Spiderman stole his lunch money...

Less than perfect is the life we live. Like when someone asks you for a ride, but never repays you for gas. Or when you are rushing to work and the person in front of you hits a dog an
d being the good citizen you are, you have to stop and give it mouth to mouth and rush it to the animal hospital because the real emergency room laughed you out...
Life is less than perfect. Like how cigarettes cause lung cancer and poor respiratory functions. And how fire burns the human flesh, yet dragons can produce it in one breath. Or why is it that when we talk to God, we are religious, but when God talk to us, we are schizophrenic? . . .
Life is less than perfect- yet this is where we live, and how we live in it determines how the out come of our sanity is formed.

Carolina de Notre

My car... I really thought it was going to fall apart while I was driving! It's in the shop right now but this is the horrid sound it made as it shook and threatened to pull apart.

Asylum

Over the summer a group of us from school participated in the 48 Hour Film Festival! You are given a Genre, Character, Character's job, Object, and Line of Dialogue you HAVE to use. In our case we were given Tragedy, Robina the security consultant, a calendar, and the line was "My brother had one just like that". We then had only 48 hours to write, shoot, and put together the film! We won for Best Tragedy and can't wait for next year! Check it out- here is my poorly compressed version of the film.
