So I have figured out why people buy the most on the day after Thanksgiving. It started
before the sales- it's what
caused the sales. See, everything is closed on Thanksgiving, so everyone is cooped up in their houses or with their families, etc, and unable to shop out of free-will. The deprivation causes them to go on a frenzy the day after when everything opens up. Of course it
helps having sales, but i've been cooped up and know the skin crawling feeling of not being able to go anywhere. Then i got to thinking of how it is in other countries- countries where it's dangerous to leave your house, or you don't have the freedom to walk or drive to the store. How unbelievably selfish and self-centered are we. We can't go one day without our consumer goods.
On another note- here are some festive pictures!

Okay- not so festive... but cute nonetheless! These are my two girl cousins Patricia and Sophia
