The New Year

I really should take this time to reflect on the last year, or ten years that have lead to 2010, but who should really dwell on the past, but rather strive for the future? So, this year- I expect a lot to happen. It will be an amazing year I predict... Unfortunately, I cannot say that my use of the word "amazing" comes with the intonation of "good" or "positive", bu rather with the uncertain knots that tangle your stomach before something amazingly awful or horrific or just plain bad occurs.  I hate to be the pessimist here, but the cards have been stacked against the good.
Of course, don't lose hope, for a year seems to be as good as you make it. I suppose it's how you hold your attitude through the good, the bad, and the ugly, that defines what kind of year it's been. So, I will enter this new year with the most high tech weaponry, and the most sophisticated armor on, but I'll make sure to put smiley face stickers on them. Happy New Year world, better watch out.
